How do I book directly?+
Pick your dates in the "Book Now" box on any property page and complete a secure checkout. You get our best rate, guaranteed, with no added online-travel-agency service fees.
Why book direct instead of Airbnb or Vrbo?+
Booking direct skips the online travel agency service fees (often 12 to 15 percent of your total), gets you our best rate, and connects you straight to the owner, real answers, real access, and faster help before and during your stay.
Is my payment secure?+
Yes. Checkout is handled by Lodgify’s secure, PCI-compliant booking system. Your dates and total are confirmed instantly.
What are check-in and check-out times?+
Check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. If you need a different time, just ask and we will do our best to accommodate.
Where are the properties located?+
Two are in Historic Downtown Sanford, The Famous Houseboat, docked at Monroe Harbour Marina on the St. Johns River, and The Shed, a restored 1910 bungalow two blocks from downtown. Ocean Oasis is in New Smyrna Beach at the Ocean Walk resort community.
Is the houseboat really the one from TV?+
Yes. The Famous Houseboat, "Downtown Dharma," was featured on HGTV’s Tiny House Hunters (Season 4, Episode 12). It is a genuine floating home you can spend the night in.
Does the houseboat move or float away?+
It is a floating home securely docked at the marina, not a cruising boat. It may sway gently with the breeze off the St. Johns River, which is part of the charm.
How many guests can each place sleep?+
Each property page lists the exact guest, bedroom, bed, and bath counts, along with the full amenities. Have a specific group size in mind? Message us and we will point you to the best fit.
What about pets and cancellations?+
Pet and cancellation policies can vary by stay and are shown at checkout before you confirm. If you have a specific need, message us before booking and we will sort it out.
